Kyrie is gettin there, but not better than Rose yet. He has a lot of potential and room for improvement.

Rose has carried the team or been the difference maker in some big games against some good competition.

Bulls winning w/o Rose

there goes your argument

they couldn't even beat a 8th seed team in the playoffs without him so there went your argument. this is irvings 3rd year and still gonna miss the playoffs for the this time. Rose never missed the playoffs. yall niggas listening to skip bayless way to much.

rose went to a team that already had established players . The only established player on the cleveland's roster has been injuried the past 2 seasons. The bulls the year rose got drafted were 33-49 not exactly a bottom feeding team they just got lucky to get the number 1 draft pick . The next 2 seasons the team only improved by 8 games . HIs third season his MVP year they improved by 21 games . That year they changed from Vinny Del Negro to Thibs and added about 6 players to their roster including Kyle Korver,CJ Watson,Omer Asik etc.

Now after that deal with memphis and some changes to the Rotation the Cavs have been winning lately . If they would have started with that Roster at the beginning of the season they would probably be in the hunt for the 8th seed even with the injuries which they have had a lot . Dion Waiters(8 games), Tyler Zeller(4 games), Daniel Gibson(14 games), Kryie Irving(11 games), Anderson Varejao (23 games-out for season)

Tom Thibs is responsible for the Celtics Championship level defense back in 08 when they beat LA....prolly the best defense ive seen in an NBA Finals in years and i actually wanted LA to win that series....I think any team would be lucky to have a coach like that and the Bulls lucked up getting him....as hard as the Bulls play now without Rose i have a hard time believing Rose actually earned that MVP.... his humble nature and exciting basketball plays prolly gave him an edge but he is just the icing on the cake to push that team another level when you consider how great of a defensive coach Thibs is....again im not taking anything away from Rose but a Pg leading the league in shot attempts is questionable no matter how you slice it.....I think Kyrie could have a better season than Rose did in 2011 if they traded places today imo

the only player i would call established on that team was deng, and he got hurt Roses rookie year. noah wasn't yet established. ben Gordon and hinrich was always way inconsistent. and not to mention a rookie head coach. sure Irving is nie but to compare him to Rose is a little far fetched. long as they stay in the same conference Irving will always be an afterthought.

U thought this was gonna fly didnt u, well i'll have u know it will not.

Why are u trying to compare a team that randomly lost their leader out the blue, and was all discombobulated going thru the emotions of such a critical blow, while having to adjust on the fly, to a team that has had some time to gel and grow as a unit w/o their leader?

Guarantee if they faced that same Philly team (with Iggy) this year that series would go 6 gms the most, nice try tho.

Nigga he missed most of his games at the beginning of last year, so for the better part of the 2nd half of the season they were use to playin with him, and when ur poised to make a run and all of a sudden lose ur best player, ur spirit is broken etc...had he not returned at all last year they prolly wouldve had a better chance beating Philly than they did with him coming back just to get injured again and having to adjust all over.

That core had been to the Playoffs several times . Also Kryie is a better offensive player then D.Rose

kyrie is offense is way better

d rose barely gets to the line.

Lebron licking his chops to run back to Cleveland and play with this kid after the 2014 season

That's just imagination right there. LeBron ain't ever going back to Cleveland except on a pass through or when they retire 23.

He's in Ohio every offseason

Akron ain't Cleveland. And being in The City of is not the Cavaliers.
