well the old model of the artist development that you talked about was tour , public appearances and album release then that cycle would repeat until you started to build a fanbase thats willing to pay for your music and merchandise.

you can always find a producer that can see your artistic vision but you have to be able to describe that vision. making beats and producing for two different things by the way
