Nipsey Hussle was selling out over seas too nigga and your point. J.Cole wasn't signed he wouldn't have shows or none of
that because he don't have no outstanding shit as his foundation , he okay he hasn't shown that he is something special , that's why he doesn't have a release date. When He had an interviews last year he was talking about his album was coming out in Dec. 2010 his shit never came out. He don't even believe he is going to sell so what does that tell you

Your sounding like a straight fucking hater right now dude. If J Cole wasn't signed he wouldn't have shows, wtf are you talking about and he has more than enough original material on his mixtapes (his mixtape are like albums) to where he has developed a following. You act like niggas don't have a starting point, all these big rappers (Em, Jay, Nas,etc) started out doing small venues and build a fanbase at some point, yall really need to get off this 50 Cent, Drake, etc like success shit, it generally doesn't work that way. Let the man work at his own pace, wait for him to release his album before you make a judgment like that, stop being so fucking impatient.

I would much rather dude take his sweet ass time, make a classic, instead of putting out a half ass debut like Canibus or Drake.

Nas didn't sell well with his debut, Jay didn't sell well with his debut, Pac didn't sell well, etc. Luck for them they had artist development back then, and were allowed to grow as artist and we saw what happen. Stop with the fast food mentality, yall are fucking up hiphop and over saturating the game with the half assed albums.

Ehhh I'm not sure if he's losing steam cause I don't think he had a lot to begin with. I do think him/they are still searching for a hit record which is gonna be huge on the success he has or not. Either way tho ill be checking for him.

He's not my type of Rapper i listened to his Music on youtube and i was not impressed at all

Max B>>>>>>>>>>>J Cole any day of the week

I like Melody so i can't get with Rappers like Lupse Fiasco, Joe Budden, Jay Z etc i love my catchy Hook's, emotion and real heart felt style of Hip Hop

J Cole to me is the eptome of bland and really boring

Wouldn't call Infinite a flop since it was an independent Album

You hate Em lol it's all good jealousy is a motherfucka

Raekwon and Tech 9 release independent albums and sold over a 100k, Eminem flopped plain and simple. Don't try to play that independent card bullshit, hypocrite!

Dude acting like Apollo theater is MSG...Bwahahahaha...Not to mention that just because you show a youtube clip it dont mean it was a J.cole show. He couldve been there with anybody and was the opening act for all we know.

this is so true now lets spread this around to all the short attention span goldfish ass niggas hip hop is flooded with. Hell kanye west was in a rap group in the 90's before he blew up I bet a lot of niggas did not know that.

as for the thread, why are yall niggas so fixated with his release date or him being thrown out there for the fuck of it. Can the nigga actually build a fanbase so he don't pull a wacka flocka (big singles and album flops because he has no real fans), believe it or not some niggas actually believe in artist development. Yall niggas on that instant gratification shit, most niggas don't have that drake, 50, snoop type start of their careers.

if he made big records he would have more oppurtunities than dropping mixtapes ... It aint waka fault he was dropping bangers that stuck like glue ... But it does make u look bad ... But i bet waka if waka comes wit another banger he'll get another release date vs j cole who could drop a million classic mixtapes in your eyes with zero hits and still wont drop a physical album itunes dont count !!

So a 5000 seat capacity theater is a small venue now? Then explain to me why the whole crowd was singing his songs word for word if it wasn't a J Cole crowd. You niggas talk out your ass without thinking and don't act like your god Lil Wayne wasn't in the same position before he started studying and copying Jay-z.

And yet Wacka is selling out hood clubs and will be disposed of in another year like Ying Yang, Lil Scrappy, Trillville, etc and all those rappers like him were. Those mfs don't have real fan bases, they aren't complete artists.
