Ill teach my kids to be an 'ALL TIME ALL AROUND PLAYER'.

That means seeking knowledge and skills evrywhere anytime in your life.

one memo about stress management during my second year of management made me realizing that i m good at pschologic studies.

The hoods of Africa has taugh me a lot too. AND I M STILL LEARNING.

Speaking of academics studies you better be one the best in your discipline if you want to live big out of it.

I wasnt made for scholl so i have choosen the army. Now i have mature sobi can pursue again academics skills.

My older brother was a beast in the Law category. He entered directly the university. He is the only one among his 20 friends to become a professor.

So the others have lost 12 years of their life to ending up working in other deparment.

Success comes easier when you re done ANALSYING your flaws.

you have no idea how many times i said this to people.

the problem is people are not truly honest with themselves about what their flaws are.

they limit their success by wanting to invest in anything else but themselves.

Its wrong to teach them that anything in this world is "guaranteed"

whatever you want

you have to work harder than the nxt person to achieve it

thats it

out work and out smart the next person

It comes down to if you kids have a passion to live it while creating income and helping others. You don't need a passion but you can fall into something that can benefit you.

College degree will not always means you'll be successful.

Well, it's a lie. So yes, I think if you tell them that and that only...I'd say it's wrong. I get why parents tell their kids that, but it's just flat out not true.

Teach your kids to use the system to their benefit.

Regarding school there are 3 types od people.

1. System players. They are told by their parents from day one to go to college. So they never think outside the box and go to school and follow directions.

2. Those who understand the system and dont get trapped. These are people who I think are smarter than system players. They dont go to college and find other ways to be succesful.

3. Rare people who understand how the system works and use it to benefit them. They will go to college just to have a degree and use it as a stepping stone and a back up and not the end.

Ima try to teach my people to have the #3 state of mind.

College isn't a guaranteed path to success sure it helps but it's just as important individuals diversify themselves.

I believe more people especially young Blacks should explore skills trades such being a electrician, plumber, welder, carpentry, and other skill type trade.

The trades are generally considerably cheaper to get, one doesn't have to go to school as long, and individuals also do accumulate the amount of debt either.

More individuals should look at entrepreneurship as well, because there is more money to be made when you work for yourself but it also requires more discipline.

Yes.

There's a saying, "The creative Adult is the Child that survived;" That shyt is true..

Frankly, America aims ( however unintentional ) to raise drones enslaved by debt.

College is a great opportunity and a great experience; But we often teach our Youth that they won't be successful without a college degree, all while systematically, yet unintentionally, destroying all of their faculties that encourage creativity, free-thinking, innovation, etc..

people also say college is the only option....an if they say you dont have to go....mostly they dont have nothing to fill the answer with outside of join the military

Because older generations are delusional on this subject. They come from a time when college was both less expensive, and had a greater chance of landing you a job.

What those who present this ultimatum to their Youth don't realize is that it's either you ~

Go to school and dive so deep into debt that you may never come out because jobs are scarce, or..

Waste a chunk of your life enduring mindless training geared towards instilling obedience.

There is literally a world of other options out there..

It's not "wrong" because it's not a lie. Depending on the career you do need college, grad school etc. in order to get in the door. Statistically speaking those who attend college are more successful in their careers than those that aren't. That "fact' can't really be argued. I think what does need to be emphasized though are 2 important things. Not all worthwhile careers involve going to a 4 year+ school for a degree and 2. Even if you decide to focus on a career that takes up a trade that still doesn't mean at some point you won't have to attend some form of schooling or classes to know what the hell you're doing. I think when people often say "I know someone who didnt go to college but is still doing ok" they fail to mention that to be successful at ANY career you have to make yourself knowledgeable about that craft and many trades have CE courses you have to take in order to remain licensed, active, etc. Bottom line is, there's no real way to get ahead in this world w/o some form of extra schooling geared towards whatever the hell it is you want to do in life.

I also think a portion of the "College is pointless" crowd is somehow stuck on the idea or bitter at being a victim of the mindset that a degree and degree only will make you a successful person. Whoever told them that left out all the extra work that comes AFTER getting your degree. Too many both in college and out of college have this misconception that a degree should automatically equal a nice paying job. As if you don't have to work your way to the top

A degree doesn't guarantee success

However I am going to keep my son involved in school and sports so he an continue to do well in school and want to further his education

It's not gonna hurt him to go to college so why not encourage it .....

We are living in a world that thinks like a firm. Yet we dont teach our kids and teenage the two pillars :

STRATEGY

TACTIC

a lot of important actions are turning around those notions.

Those two aforementioned has changed my life.
