Seriously though I think 50 had the biggest hip hop impact since the death of 2pac.Maybe DMX can jump in the mix.Dude had like 4 platinum albums or some shit.

That's nothing, all Jay albums went plat even the best of both world albums. Also Life After Death had a way bigger impact on the music than anything from Pac.

Shit i agree with the list..

Luda is nice but dont act like niggas was just lookin forward to Luda cds i cant even remember a nigga sayin that samething with 50 after Massacre he kinda slacked off to me..

Nelly flamed out early..

Owning a decade or wateva isnt just about selling the most albums if that was the case Em would every decade..

So yea T.I. Wayne Yeezy and Hov owned that decade im sure every will have their own opinion tho..

The thing that's getting me is what time was T.I on top. And if you don't show 50 love, Kanye don't deserve to be on the list either. 50 had the most memorable and impactful run from the past decade. I honestly don't even see the argument. He should be a lock on the list

When was he on top??? I mean this shit is really all opinions but since Trap Muzik that nigga has put out consistent good/great music..

I mean i dont really think you can find too many ppl that dropped that many solid singles and albums during that span..

50 only had two good/great albums GRODT and Massacre everything else i can careless for honestly..

Kanye is lock the only spot the is debateable imo is Wayne.. Simply bcuz that nigga music has no direction he just recording to record lol

Eminem

50 cent

Lil Wayne

Nelly

Jay z never was the "it" man in hip hop. every year he was overshadowed by one of these niggas. what the fuck did jay z do so special last decade? lost against nas, ran away from hip hop. released 5 garbage ass albums back to back.

The OP's list is accurate. A few notes 50 never ran anything, his biggest contribution was the amount of records he sold. He hurt the gangsta rap genre by going after basically everyone in site and living to tell about it, that's not realistic so he made his self look like a clown and everyone else look not so gangsta. I can remember being up in Baltimore and cats was messing with TIP more than 50. The urban community was never behind 50 like that, maybe New York because they will back anybody to scream New York back, but other than that the Urban community was never messing with 50 . Trap Muzik movement greater than anything 50 could ever dream of in impact. Hate all you want but that shit ran 2000-2010 and we all know who the leader of that was on the mainstream level. Also the streets that I know have never messed with Wayne or Kanye too tough either I am just being honest. TIP and Jay were the only one of these 4 who really had the streets on lock at anytime in those years, 2000-2010. Like Jay Z said 50 came through and those are the true feelings of most about that guy.
