You cant say 2000-2010 and not include EMINEM in that mix!

50 came out ON FIRE but cooled off real quick. seem like his style got tiresome real quick after he got rich

He didnt cool off until before i self destruct, which came out in '09...... so from late 02 til 2009 he was still on. niggas act like curtis didnt do numbers even tho he lost the sales battle 2 kanye

TI only had 2 hot albums between 2000 and 2010?

Trap Muzik, Urban Legend, KING, Paper Trails...that's 4

Only Paper Trail and King were big sellers.

Smh at u!!!!!!!!!! U must forgot the abundant of material lil wayne had in between each of his all even be4 the 1st carter dropped... the squad up mixtapes........u must of forgot about all the feature he was on.. lloyd, bobby v, destiny child. Etc and he was doing just str8 feauture and mixtape 4 2years and was relevant , not to mention what he spawned off nikki minaj and drake and they went plat fresh out the gate.... and I'm not even gonna speak on ti all his albums went platinum, I'm not sure About I'm serious though ithink it eventualy went pltinum.........and when was the last time outcast put out album and how many albumshave they droped in the last ten years???? Get ur knowledge up homie....1

I didn't forget anything. Quantity doesn't mean anything. He could put out a mixtape everyday and it wouldn't matter. Albums are what people actually buy and determine his popularity. The only album Wayne put out that did numbers was Carter III. That doesn't make him a contender for running the decade.

No sign. Niggas forgot Nas, Common, Lupe, and the like. They shit on all these other niggas talent wise and even sold records during the decade. They had it on smash easy.

Cosign t/s. No matter who was hot at any time at least one of these four was right there. Yeah Ja Rule was big in 00-03 but Jay-Z was the man during that time. When Lil Jon took over TI was the biggest name in the streets. So yeah definite cosign.

I cosign this thread...Although there were others who were just as or more dominant, who others have already named..Those four (TI, Kanye, Hova, Wayne) WERE THE MOST CONSISTENT. Every year they made a major impact..Every year.

Pretty much safe

ibedamned;2885408 said:
niggas just arguing just because. These four had the best overall run of the decade, all had highly anticipated albums and, made big buisness movs etc.

Kanye got big 2004- present

TI got his commercial success about 2005 i believe-

Em- 2000-2004 (after 50 came out he fell back some)

50 cent- 2003 -2006 after that many people got tired of em lol

Wayne- wasnt dominate but in the later years (2005- present) He was every where after that.

I would say the artist you mentioned had a run majority of the decade, but its hard to say 1 person owned a whole decade.

yup you are right.they were the most consistent, made the best albums, sold the most records and had the biggest hits.Even though I don't like Wayne,I can give him his credit.50,Ja and whoever else were short lived and em fell off for a minute and lost consistency.

Eminem doesnt count cause he's white.

That's bullshit.......After Death Row....Eminem saved Interscopee and The Aftermath.

White has nothing to do with his color but his talent has something to do with his color.

Outside of the bolded those albums are about as average as an album could be.
