Bradley Beal can't shoot I'm ready for his ass to go already my bad i just go off on wizards rants for know reason

Yea Rivers career path not looking great but it's too early to go all out bust on him. he just gotta improve

man i had never even heard of bradley beal until the draft came around. alot of these players need to stay in school longer than a year

me either and i swear last year watching draft coverage they kept talking bout how good of a shooter he is. Then they show his highlight package and the dude isn't making any jump shots. Then he had a wack ass 3point shooting percentage. I'm telling my man like am I missing something why are they drafting a shooter who can't shoot. But yea I never really seen him ball at Florida.

Seriously??

i may have saw two or three games when he was at florida. i dont really check for florida basketball but he never stood out at all to me. i never heard of him in high school either

Beal won National Gatorade HS Player of the year , and he was nice at UF you could see what they like about him.

Beal is gonna be really good , People expect way too many of these 19/20 year olds to step in right away and average 23ppg from the jump and fail to realize how hard the NBA is and how big of an adjustment it is.

I didn't expect that much from Beal. But I did expect him to shoot over .35% from the field. I did expect to see some hustle and athleticism. He never asserts himself. Hopefully it's all coming with time.

Way too early to call him a buat but he aint doin what was expected of him neither. Dude at most in the next couple of yrs is gonna average 15ppg

watching the vid.....with Chad Ford and 1st Take crew did skip bayless say "If Michael Jordan went ahead picked Austin Rivers @ #2 pick I wouldnt be mad at that @ all" WTF.......His trolling exploits never amaze me

I wasnt expecting Rivers to avg 20 ppg but I expected to say the least show some potential

The kid is soft I know Doc is thanking God he doesnt have to coach Austin How in the world do you explain to you wife why her son isn't playing without ending up sleeping on the couch

thats easy...you grow a pair and tell her the kid sucks at the moment and you paid for that bed and everything in that house...lmao

Remember billuips.....he usedt to play like crap when he started......then he became mr big shot....give austin time...takes longer for some folks

Seen enough in his college career to know this guy wouldn't be good.

It was obvious.

Maybe not obvious to you "only watch NBA" ass niggas, but obvious to anyone that seen him hoop in college.

i wouldn't Compare them due to style of play , i think Rivers has Lou Williams written all over him , which is still solid

but yea Billups was turning into a journey man before Detroit , i think it was something like 4 teams in his first 5 or 6 years and he was the #3 overall pick.

As a fellow wizards fan we always have a reason to be angry

15 pts/game on 43% shooting and a tourney loss to Lehigh........not overly impressive,,,,,,,,not sure he is better than Jerryd Bayless was coming out of Zona

Dudes stock was only as high as it was because apparently he's coachable (because his dad's a fucking coach)

And that 1 big shot he hit against UNC, which only happened because Zeller didn't contest it.

Probably because they thought he had the clutch gene.

Seen dude get out-played in a HS game 2 years ago, when ESPN occasionally shows HS games from top players in the nation.

It was really from that moment when I thought "son isn't even nice at all, he might be a good 4 year player for Duke"

I've always believed unless you have the KG, Lebron, KD level of talent if you leave HS/College early you'll need at least 4-6 seasons to reach your potential. Because normally players would be in college for 4 years getting the needed coaching. Even the straight to the pro's level of talent guys refine their games in that time period.

With that said I didn't believe he could have an impact year 1 the same way those other guys have but with some practice and patience he'll get better. Maybe not elite level but a very good scorer. Besides it's only been a handful of games I'd hold off calling him a bust.

It's too early to rate him anything, but dude'll probably end up as the Mark Sanchez of the NBA.

He'll be a journeyman by Year 4, though....

first of all he's not gonna succeed playing PG,I laughed when people were saying Austin Rivers is gonna be playin

point guard.

U niggas kno ima die hard Pelicans (fml)fan. I watched all Rivers games so far and he been terrible. But I do believe the kid will grow an get stronger, sharper behind the arc, and overall learn from his game. This dude is still a baby, and he plays like a 15 year old and his body is literally immature.

Give lil man time... And if u niggas wanna see his potential, check out his clippers game highlights on YouTube. Kid has something. And stop saying he doesn't pass the ball, he does. U niggas stay going with what ESPN tells u to go with.

Needs to develop more game. He's all ways been the best scorer on his team and now that's no longer the case. Needs to learn how to create for others and hit from the mid-range. He's not a good defender so that will need to improve as we'll. but chad ford was dead on.

I agree that he is a bust.

But just off the top of my head here's a few that looked like bust in their rookie year too...

Jerry Rice. (I read somewhere that some Bengals receiver was touted as the "best WR" of his draft class for at least

the first couple years of his career.)

James Harden (I can personally vouch.)

Roddy White (I can personally vouch.)

Tyson Chandler (if my memory serves correct he was gettin rag-dolled in the paint his first few years.)
