@greenwood

I agree with most of what you posted but I just think Rice was a poor example. He had a hard time adjusting coming from a small school but like you pointed out he got it together by the end of his rookie year and put up decent numbers overall finishing the year strong.

I pretty much said it's too early to judge on Rivers also and he should be given time before judging how his career will be. Maybe he will turn out like Rice though and improve throughout his rookie year.

We're actually in agreement on this. I posted Jerry Rice and those other players because they were all players who looked like busts early in their rookie year.

Rivers has plenty of time to turn the season around be considered a good future prospect.

Jerry Rice had 26 catches and 10 drops after his first 11 games. And they traded 3 picks to move up and get him in the draft.

It's to early to call him a bust, but He shoulda stayed in college another year or 2,I have no idea why rivers left after one season His fam isn't hurtin for dough

Yall nggas are too patient actually.

27mpg and this many games is a good enough barometer to know he won't be a star or all star.

He needs the ball, but doesn't deserve the ball.

His BEST case scenario is Oj Mayo, but Mayo off the rip was a 3pt shooter and rivers is no Mayo.

told ya niggas he was wack back in like march.....

no athleticism, no IQ, no explosiveness, travels very often, no jumpshot, and he's weak......

@keeponpushing

Beal has been a lot more aggressive his last 2 games. That's what i been looking for his shot still not falling for him yet but he's being assertive

Lol @ ngas thinking dude was suppose to come in and average double double and shit...dude it's only 24 games into the season lol..dayum...most rookies don't jell in a NBA season until late in the season

Too Bad he was a fool

Wouldnt say he's a bust just yet (need 3 years to make it official). However, he shouldve stayed an extra year or 2 in school...but if the league doesnt write him off and giives him time to develop he'll be a solid player with all star potential, I basically see him as being cut from a Monta Ellis type cloth, but we'll see.

I agree dude should've stayed in skool at least another year or 2. It wasn't like the fam was hurting for bread or nothin. He still has a chance to blossom and be a impact player but that depends if he has that Jerry Rice esque work ethic to be great

I could'a swore it was thread on here about a year ago making him out to be the next phenom.

In the immortal words of that nigga Jemele Hill...

Welp.

neva was impressed wit his game was way ova hyped eva since high school. undersized 2 guard wit a weak handle, poor finishing ability in traffic a shaky jumper nd no court vision i didnt see da "IT" factor ova heads saw. maybe i'll be wrong cuz its A LOT of time left but i just dont see it IMO. I'll neva forget Chad Ford said he thinks he's Kobe Bryant but in reality he's Ricky Davis lmao

still stand by dis nd seeing them january stats smh man it aint lookin good i remember some guys havin poor rookie years then turnin it around but Austin is close to all-time bad wit his numbers
