Real shit. Niggas just throw classic around. Exactly why the words meaning has diminished. Nigga said IWW and I AM classics. Like the fuck on you niggas minds???

it was written is a classic. niggas just don't want to give it to him.(the message, street dreams, take it in blood, i gave you power, watch dem niggas, affimrative action, the set up, black girl lost, suspect, shootouts, live nigga rap, if i ruled the world, silent murder, plus deja vu and the street dreams remix/sinful living that didn't make the lp)

i am would have been classic, except the leak fucked it up.

stillmatic was dope, and would have been the best album of 2001 had he put the lost tapes stillmatic sessions on there(purple, doo rags, nothing lasts forver, my way, black zombies, no ideas original, everybody's crazy, stay chissled, plus the intro, ether, got our self, your the man, rewind, one mic, second childhood, the flyest, rule, every ghetto, poison).

so yes nas could have had 4 5 mic albums

im an outkast fan but stankonia is not a classic at all that's their weakest album to me, i even didnt give that album much burn.

Now ice-cube i been listening to since 88

but ice-cube have more classics.

Ice-cube co-wrote a classic album in eazy-e "eazy duz it"

ice-cube was on 2 classic group albums and was the major force in the group nwa "straight outta compton" and west side connection "bow down"

ice cube classic solo albums "amerikkka most wanted, death certificate"

and cube have a classic soundtrack in friday

classic ep "kill at will"

ice-cube have 7 certified classic albums

preadtor and lethal injection is near classic

7 certified classics

he really has 5, 6 bangers in a row..

i don't think most people will agree with his fourth album. i personally like the first two the best, i've never gotten into muddy waters. after dare iz a darkside (which had that grimey and weird atmosphere going for it), muddy waters sounded too clean and it seemed reggie was running out of ideas. i haven't listened to it in a long time though so i'll prolly change my opinion again

his only two classics to me is amw and death certifcate

thats what i was going to say!! if we talking 5 Mic classics!

but The Predator gets 4.25 in my book on the strength "It was a good day" which is a classic single and "Check Yourself"

Lethal Injection 3.75 Mics.. its were his creativity started to slide a bit but the single "What Can I Do" is one of the best written and underrated tracks in hip hop history in which he vividly tales the story of a drug kigpin that leaves LA to go to Minnesota because theres more prophet out there. He gets busted looses everything and comes out of jail a nobody that has to wind up taking min wage job at Mickey D's to feed himself and his family

Cube after Injection lost his fire and started doing movies and was basically on auto pilot. they didnt suck but they were just pretty average

i agree that The Chronic changed the game and is a classic. But its not a flawless album, personally i prefer Doggystyle. I really believe that in 10 years, ppl will look back on 808s and Heartbreaks as a game changing classic. Without it, there would be no Drake, Cudi, B.o.B, "How To Love" etc. Especially with a lot of new rappers coming out that are influenced by Kanye, i think i can confidently say that 808s is classic.

Classics are not necessarily flawless

Ummmmm, did you know the bolded is not necessarily a good thing? And to really think 808 is a classic is down right outrageous. Smh
