by ya'll niggas logic there have been over a 100 critically acclaimed albums that has changed the direction of hiphop (classics).

It's probably less than 30 true classic albums in rap period, much less 1 rapper having 4. smh

I like to use the timeline method, where you look back and say "this is when hiphop changed" on a mass scale and timelessness. Not too many albums did that, THE CHRONIC is a perfect example of a classic.

i agree that The Chronic changed the game and is a classic. But its not a flawless album, personally i prefer Doggystyle. I really believe that in 10 years, ppl will look back on 808s and Heartbreaks as a game changing classic. Without it, there would be no Drake, Cudi, B.o.B, "How To Love" etc. Especially with a lot of new rappers coming out that are influenced by Kanye, i think i can confidently say that 808s is classic.

Yerah but Usmarin contradicts himself so much when Jay Z wins the grammys, sales, critical acclaim etc he has a classic

When a Rapper he doesn't like has the same grammy awards, sales, critical acclaim etc 'he feels his personal opinion is relevant opposed to worldwide majority consensus

Then when you try have a mature debate with him he acts childish only time i can ever remember having a mature debate with Marine was when i pointed out that i don't like Jay Z's Content cos all he talks about is selling drugs, money and materalisim so Marin said listen to not just the Singles but his Albums i him i heard every Jay Z Album and he took it personal that i just didn't like Jay

It's just sad when posters like Marin feel they are insecure so seing a person like Jay Z who is rich makrs him feel better

Im an Outkast fan but Stankonia is not a classic at all that's their weakest album to me, i even didnt give that album much burn.

NOW ICE-CUBE i been listening to since 88

But ICE-CUBE have more classics.
