Bruh everyone ain't out to get money just for the fuck of it. Some niggas focus on being good fathers, husbands etc. A father who's there to interact and teach his children > a father who has everything covered financially, but is always gone on business.

Not to mention, when you get in that 6-figure range you start working crazy long hours and after you do the math, most of those 6-figure salary niggas are only making around $25/hr. I know a lot of dudes making 100K+ that are straight up miserable.

I disagree with this perception of yours. True, your mind is on ya money and ain't nobody gon knock you for that. But some niggas content with attaining a level of comfort and being home to watch their sons grow....not every lesson can be taught by mom dukes.

Oh hell da fuck no! I was referring to the part he mentioned 100K. I'm thinking if you making 100k for 35+ years, most definitely your kids foundation is set if you invest and at some point start a business or something. I'd rather not have any kids till i crack 100k plus in a couple of years, fuck am i gonna do with 30k and a kid?

30K is not enough for a single parent out here. 30K is ok if you live in the south or basically any area with a low cost of living. You probably are living check to check if you in the south and with a kid. Big cities 30K one income household man you barely making it if you don't have your house paid for or living with your parents. I did a quick look 30K in Charlotte is equivalent to making 55K in NYC Brooklyn.

Why are you acting like it's either 30K or 100K? I was just pointing out that the positions that pay employees 100K+ require OD long hours, tons of traveling etc.

Here's the thing... If you know what you're doing you can work a "regular" job making 60, 70K and come out a millionaire via investments, 401Ks, IRAs etc. in due time AND still be involved in your kid's life. Especially if your wife is on your same status.

... In sum, we all know the father is just as important as the mother is when it comes to raising children. Who else is going to teach the kid how to act like a man or give him advice on how to move in certain situations? Who else is going to teach your daughter, how a man should treat her? If you want to be a multimillionaire, wait to have kids, because once you have kids, they are now or should be your number one priority. If you're not involved in your kid's life, you're not giving him/her a fair chance.
