and not everybody had the opportunity to gain "skills" some weren't mature enough when they had the opportunity, everybody situation different, but it's also how you spend your money, I will never ever get a car payment if i couldn't pay the car off if times got hard, I'm trying now to save up for a house because after being 25 years old it doesn't make sense to pay rent when you can get a rancher home and pay a mortgage/equity, so 30k could go a long way if you don't have any bills that aren't benefitting you, and also where you live

I make nearly 20k more a year now, but thats still less than a new college grad in my field.

Bruh everyone ain't out to get money just for the fuck of it. Some niggas focus on being good fathers, husbands etc. A father who's there to interact and teach his children > a father who has everything covered financially, but is always gone on business.

Not to mention, when you get in that 6-figure range you start working crazy long hours and after you do the math, most of those 6-figure salary niggas are only making around $25/hr. I know a lot of dudes making 100K+ that are straight up miserable.

To show you how life works..

I havent smoked weed in 3 years.. I had a 5 day weekend off from work this past weekend because of the snowstorm. I decided to face a blunt for old times sake over the weekend.. I come in to work today to find out the the company has been bought out and the new admin is screening all the employees over now for their records..including a drug test.. tomorrow.

Nigga.. im about to lose my job. W..T..F..

So I quit ^that^ job (didn't want next employer to call them asking why i was fired) before they tested me and had no job lined up.. Been working there for the last 2 years, and was making less than $20,000 a year smh.

Fast forward a week later, I've got an interview on Wednesday for a job that will pay between $65-$72,000 a year... Kicker?

My brother is the person interviewing me.
