This is the only issue that the IC has introduced to me.

Growing up where I was, we never had this light skinned/dark skinned problem. Not in the hood, not at school, not in the family, no where. I can't relate or understand any or either side of this... discussion.

i remember several of the baddest chicks growing up were dark skinned chicks...i mean there were some popular redbones too....but i've never seen a dark skin chick get played cuz of her complexion until i was in my 20's....and even then the shit confused the fuck outta me

She's right, and most of you dudes are exhibit A: you put light-skinned women on a pedestal.

I am really troubled though by her willingness to exploit the pedestal she is put on by these men.
