Another reason I cant see ross being a legend. I got nothin against him and I listen to some of his music but his whole persona is fake and makes it hard for me to fully buy into him.

Yea...man I know...I felt the same way when Jay said he lost 92 Bricks of Cocaine

Don't see how 50 won't be considered a legend. I think Ross has a chance too... just different types. Rozay been dropping nothing but beautiful/quality music and if he stays consistent that will constitute his legendary status. Just in 2010 alone the Albert Anastesia EP, Teflon Don, and Ashes to Ashes. Wow. He is the hood's favorite right now. But the hood is fickle.. Look at Jeezy and T.I. now... it might be time for him to crossover soon. The question is how long can he sustain his popularity and will he be willing to compromise his artistic integrity or will he continue to give us quality music?? Its all up in the air right now. At this point I can't say he has cemented his status as a legend, but he is on the right track.

To me 50 already is. GRODT and Massacre were ground breaking for their time. 50 ENDED Ja, who was very hot at the time, career. They took the mixtape game to the next level with all those Whoo Kid tapes. He's just an international superstar. He's not the greatest lyricist and his content gets redundant but if you listen to his music objectively I would say 50 is consistent as well. Listen to Sincerely Yours, Southside, Forever King, War Angel LP, Elephant in the Sand, Return of the Body Snatchers, 50 Cent Is The Future, etc.. not to mention Beg For Mercy, GRODT Soundtrack, Curtis, and BISD had hot records as well. And 50 has one of the greatest personas in hip hop history and countless hilarious beefs.

why nigga care if ross is considered a legend or not? if you like his music inst that good enough for you? , but real talk ross would of never gone plat in the 90s , if he got exposed for being an officer of the law he wouldn't even be able to get a deal much less a release date in the 90s

Is that really suppose to make any difference? Sitting on the shelf is the same as not having a deal....word to Saigon

What are you trying to prove? He had a deal but stayed on the side because his superiors told him to chill out and wait till lyricism was weaker in the 2ks?
