the more I think about it, the more I think this shit actually WILL happen...

Golden state is no secret don't want monte ellis and curry...

Lakers now, have 2 big men....

A head up trade, gasoft for curry and upgrading the bench might really be all you need...

The biggest problem with who to trade is just...

Gasoft: will give up on you at any moment, you never know what will come to the table...

Bynum: can get injured on you at any moment, you never know what will come to the table...

My final answer is:

Gasol for Curry

Bynum and Artest for Howard

Howard

Random PF

Odom

Kobe

Curry

Athletic bench with some shooters.

These niggas will bring in a title... can't wait to see how it goes down.

if d howard dead set on comin to LA, so be it...

but if a gasol for curry trade was possible, id rather do that and hold off 2 years and make a real hard run at blake griffin and keep bynum.

every team need a nigga the opponents love to hate/enforcer type nigga and bynum is becoming that dude

The key to a Laker championship is players with a winning attitude in the playoffs. Right now Kobe is that dude. Everyone else, not so much. Lets go back to the 08 finals. Rodmonovich and Vujacic shot the lights out up until the finals. That was the red flag to say its time to bounce. Also Lamar Odom, as talented as he is, is the bigges Jeckle and Hyde act the NBA has ever seen. He was a no show in 08, 09 and 10 he was as good as Kobe, this year no show again. He is the cancer that needs to be removed. But if you want to just get deep with it, lets start at the top. Why did they not resign Ariza??? Why did they not resign Farmar??? Werent their contribution key to the championship runs? If they were going to let them go at least get an equal value. When his mind is right Artest is your defensive wepon. Defence only. Blake and Barnes must go by any means nessassary.

You've been living under a rock.

Ariza wanted to expand his game & said he couldn't do that with the Lakers. Farmar wanted to run his own team.

what series gasol carried the lakers 2 a win

he also gave boston a championship

damn somebody who actually sees it the way I see it...

He couldn't even carry memphis to a single fucking playoff game win in his life, now all of a sudden he's some messiah... most overrated player in the NBA

I can't stand the Lakers, but here is what they need to do to get better.

They need to upgrade the point guard and small forward positions. Rumors of Chris Paul are wet dreams for L.A. imo, but they should go after a young solid guy like a Aaron Brooks, Kurt Hinrich, or Raymond Felton. I told my father who is a big Lakers fan they would regret letting guys like Jordan Farmer and Trevor Ariza go in the long run and right about now they could use some young athletic players like those guys. Fisher is done and Artest underachieved in the post season.

I think LA would be right back in contention if they made those moves and got younger at the one and three positions

Another option and one that is being suggested by the media is to trade either Bynum or Gasol and/or both. In my honest opinion Otis Smith Orlando's GM would be a fool if he unloaded Howard for just Bynum who is a 23 year center with average numbers and rickety knees. I don't think Bynum could carry a team, but Lakers fans hype the dude up like he's the future or something. If I were Otis Smith and indeed decided to trade Howard any deal I made would have to include Gasol as well as Bynum along with Shannon Brown, Matt Barnes, and at least a couple of future first round draft picks. The Lakers would also have to agree to take on the contract of Gilbert Arenas to free up some cap room. A third team would probably have to be involved in this.

Would they have a choice, with Howard going to leave anyway? They in the same situation the nuggets were in, at other teams mercy.

Howard will stay if they get some help and Otis is willing to shred the team to do so..

I dont see any trade value from anyone on that team but Bynum but even then it aint worth it.. I would just try to bring in CP3 if i was Orlando..

I like Hinrich to the Lakers dont know if Gasol will fit in Atl but thats a good look for the Lakers

im sick and tired of Laker homers led by j.adande refusin to belief that the era is over. Get it thru yah thick skulls, its a wrap. Okc and Blazers should own the west for a decade and knicks and heat the same in the East.

Kobe aint winnin no other ship. Thats reality. Accept it and keep it movin. Kobe aint no MJ and he no where top 5 that ever did it, prolly top 10

Lakers would take gilbert arenas and Dwight in a heartbeat. Both only have 2 years left on the deal. They'd go into free agency and have bird rights to both and reload with other free agents as well. ANd gilbert can still play, he's just a #3 at this point
