South Africa is the shit, my friend. When I was there, I never wanted to leave. People seemed more intimate and honest.
It is sad how people have a misconception of African people. The truth is that since America is a continent, it isn't a country. So that would mean that technically, every Black person in this country is still considered to be African. People still want no connection with Africa, thinking it's still a bunch of jungle and backwards ass people. That's ignorance at it's finest.
Also, getting back to the thread, just because you're from the hood doesn't mean that you have any self-love or self-esteem about being Black. It just means that you live in the hood. *shrugs*
