I grew up on E-40. Being on the outside looking in, I could understand why you feel that way. 40 was played at Bar B Ques. Parties. Pep Rallies. Clubs. I understand his message a little more than somebody who doesn't hear him regularly. But he mos def had top 5 qualities inside and outside the booth

But they weren't hits or even released to retail. Lost Tapes is probably his second highest quality project after Illmatic and maybe It Was Written. I don't see how it could even be excluded when discussing his catalog.
