So you worship something that can't see, can't hear, can't walk, and can't talk? What type of god is that?

Nature has the ability to pour out and take the form of things that can do all of that. We are the living embodiment and manifestation of that expression. It is the process that gives birth to all things.

God is the one who controls nature. That's why when Jesus spoke to the wind and the waves of the sea, they obeyed Him. It's in Him that we live, and move, and have our being. Amen.

If there were a god, he would be controlled by Nature. Because if he can think and talk and walk and all of that good stuff, there has to be some type of general law(s) that govern the order of those things. There even has to be a law of nature that deems his existence possible before he can even be there at all.

The Creator, God, set in order the laws of nature. Read Genesis 1. The Creator is not subject or governed by the very things He created.

I don't think you understand what I'm saying. Read that again.

I read your statement, and my response remains the same. God isn't subject or governed by the creation. Amen.

Well you didn't really answer my response to you. That's why I don't think you understood it.

What kind of answer are you looking for?

I disagree with th bolded, but maybe im not understanding your stance. So ur saying without subjective thought behind particlaur actions individuals make, like what Ariel Castro did, the act was not bad in itself? Im confused fam....

What I mean is that phenomena has no inherent quality of being good or evil. Value judgements are determined by humans in relation to relative situations. To put this in words that may be more understandable to you, Jesus said we know good and/or evil by its fruits. That is to say, what effect an action has on the mind or well-being of man. Nothing lives in a bubble completely cut off from the rest of existence.

Are u making this statement pertaining exclusively to the human race? Because their are plenty of non monogamous animals that learn from the mother and are surviving. But i see ur point. But i only mentioned that because u said that most moral decisions that are made are due to biological factors that keep us in tune with nature. That's what i disagree with.

I'm talking specifically about the evolutionary path of man. There is plenty of information on line that could help you understand it. It might make more sense coming from a professional on the subject.

Why do you disagree?

it makes sense now. Lol.

We are not gonna agree in this subject. But I enjoy the conversation and respect ur opinion.

But i do have a question. As a practiced of daoism, what do u think our society would need to eliminate some of the "suffering" we experience? Especially the black race.

Likewise.

We would need to eliminate the current destructive mind-state and practice mental discipline. More specifically, an elimination of the three poisons (greed, hate, and delusion). I think the path to righteousness is the same regardless of things like race; I am also practicing Buddhism so I fully endorse the Eightfold Path. A lot of my advice would be Buddhist ethics rather than exclusively Taoist principles..

For African Americans, I think our main focus right now should be creating a better future for our community and children by rebuilding a stronger family structure. There should be stronger ties between black man and woman. There should be more feelings of brotherhood and family as opposed to competition. When I make eye contact with another black man (nh), I call him brother.. or woman, sister to connect in peace.

i can feel that. Regardless of religious affiliation, if u are doing anything to better the communities so many of us live in...i can rock with it.

we can put aside our differences and work that out later. There are more important things to focus on. Because honestly when it comes to spirituality, that is something u cant beat a person over the head with. It has to be genuine and stem from a sincere thirst for truth. Everyone finds exactly what they are supposed to tho in the end.

If the beginning of the next man spiritual journey begins with me, it won't be because I beat them over the head with it. It will be because the Most High brought them in my path and allowed my discerning spirit to catch on to something they nay have said or done that lets me know the need to know something I may.
