Arguably one of the best cats to break out in the past decade and definitely brought a style in the game that influenced how people rapped. Lil Wayne's delivery has been hugely influential - even haters can't deny that!

(btw, I'm not a fan of his, nor do I feel he's GOAT, but those^^^^^ are some valid reasons why someone may feel he's GOAT material)

When you think of classic hip hop albums people say illmatic, ready to die, etc. They don't think first hand any of wayne's albums. He had some great albums but not bar none classics. Lil Wayne isn't even the best rapper in the south. His lyrics are mediocre, 90% of his songs are about the same thing, and he wears skinny jeans. Don't confuse popularity with quality. Lil Wayne will never be on the level of the real hip hop greats.
