Probably. Especially in the media's eyes.......

But I still think Brady is better. He has done far more with much less.

He's BEEN better than Brady his whole career. Stats wise, and just in terms of accolades for an individual. Brady only has better team and postseason success because of his team having a better D than Paytons. This year was the first where Brady didn't have the better D and you see how far he went without it. If anybody says that Payton ain't the better QB, they're just slobbin' Brady's knob better than Gisele could ever dream of doing......

How didnt have the better team when they kept beating the colts in the playoffs???? it was obivious that the pats had the better defense and the offense was bout the same by a hair but the pats killed the colts I think it was 03-04 season whooping they ass in the snow I was pissed

Brady has had a better career in terms of Super bowl victories.he had mediocore recievers (one who was superbowl mvp by the way) but he had a good team in all the other positions.

Peyton has ALWAYS been a better QB in terms of talent. That shouldn't even be in question. If Peyton gets another ring, that just closes the gap between their resumes

The Colts had one of the most horrid defenses in the league during Payton's first few years. It wasn't until a couple of years after Dungy came into the picture did they start to get it together. Did you notice how most of their draft choices went on the defensive side of the ball since 2002? Freeney, Mathis, Marlin Jackson, Mike Doss, Cato June, Kelvin Haden, Bob Sanders, Antoine Bethea, Clint Session, etc..... Nearly all of their best players on D came through the draft. They started to gel at around the 2006-2007 playoffs and have been playing better since. They aren't the best, but they take alot of pressure off of Payton. When a good QB can count on his D to make a stop, he'll be considered a great when he's counted on to win the game. All the best QBs have had a great defense to back them up. Montana, Bradshaw, Unitas, etc.....

You can disagree all you want but you can't argue with facts

how long u been watchin football fam?.....what u gon say? Brady had no-name recievers right.....

but, how many of us knew about Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon before this year? how many of us knew about Anthony Gonzalez last year?.....Brady always had the better defense and the BEST offensive line in the league which he still has

Slow down. I never said the Colts have always had a good D and I didnt say they had the better D. Thats why they went out and hired Dungy because they wanted him to turn the D around. Hes a defensive coach...... Dude said Brady's team has had a better D than Paytons, which hasnt always been true.

Payton has hurt his team in the playoffs because of bad play and turnovers, when his D has accually played well during the post season. Those are facts you cant argue with.

I wouldn't say offensive line now because manning doesn't get sacked really

Dude.... Payton has always had weapons on offense up until this season. This is the first season he has had to actually play with dudes no one has heard of. And Gonzalez was good in college homie, plus he was drafted in first round. He isnt an unknown..... How long you been watching football?

manning been better than brady in my eyes just his whole work ethic and the way he gets prepared for games not just big games but any game he prepares for a game against the lions just like he prepares for a game the steelers i know i might be taking it to far but i think if manning get another ring this year he'll be the best quarterback ever

Brady's team HAS always had the better D. Well, mainly in their Superbowl years. It wasn't until the year that Bob Sanders came back in the playoffs did their team play up to speed. The Colts D didn't start playing comparable to or better than the Pats' until the '07 season.

Nobody's arguing that, but more often than not both he and his coach have had to make bad/tough decisions because they couldn't rely on the defense in the clutch.

There's a reason that Brady was able to sneak his team a win past 3 teams with great offenses by only needing a FG to win.....

only because he got 1 of the quickest releases, they have a mediocre offensive line with the exception of Jeff Saturday

exactly, Peyton gets rid of the ball very quickly. unless there's just a totally blown block on the line, he aint gettin sacked...

Manning is the better individual QB but Brady has had better teams. But I think Manning right now has surpassed Brady in terms of QB play.

Peyton was drafted #1 overrall in 98, when your team is good....you dont get the #1 overrall pick. and i know Gonzalez was a 1st round pick but it was a late 1st rounder, and not only

Brady inherited a team that was already good....a team with the best defense and the best offensive line, with decent offensive talent.....but its way easier to get better on offense then get better on defense

BULLSHIT, In 2000, the Patriots were 5-11 with Bledsoe and Belichick in his first year. In 2001, the Patriots finish 11-5 (11-3 in games Brady started). HE TRANSFORMED THE TEAM, HE WASNT JUST ANOTHER GUY ON A GOOD TEAM. I swear, niggas make it seem like Brady is Trent Dilfer
