Haters will but rational thinking Hip Hop fans will simply differ in opinion.

Yes there are rappers with better skill who make better music. The likes of Nas, Common, Jay, Ghostface, are GOAT mentions because they combine skill with longevity and body of work, something Kanye doesn't have, he makes good music yes, but as a rapper he is not a top tier rapper and his music is not any better than a lot of the work some of the names i mentioned have produced. Kanye doesn't get extra points for his production skills, when were are clearly judging him as a rapper, as a rapper he isn'\t a GOAT contender and probably never will be, as a artist that combines everything he is one of the best Hip-Hop as seen but if Q Tip don't get brought up as a GOAT contender with his body of work and production skills then neither does Kanye.

You are missing the point, I'm not factoring in his production in regard to him being a GOAT contender. I was pointing out the double standard that exists in saying he's a Top 10 producer based on his body of work, but saying he isn't Top 10 based on his body of work. People throw in extras like skill and longevity when discussing him as a rapper as if doesn't apply where his production is concerned. I'm merely asking how can he be a Top 10 producer just based on catalog, but not a Top 10 rapper based on catalog. It's like skill and longevity take a backseat where his production is concerned.

His a top 10 producer based on his body of work, cause he has produced for people outside of his own work. When evaluating his rapping skills however we can only go on his albums and features, which doesn't show anything worth of being called a GOAT.

And your right but top 10 isn't GOAT status imo, and also there is the small fact that i could name at least 7 rappers with not only a better or equal body of work, but a better skill set as well.
