this could get ugly..it could also polarize West Coast hip hop even further by making neutral parties like Snoop choose a side...*gets popcorn ready*

My money is on Crooked I...he's the only one the people even care about...Bishop Lamont and Glasses, while dope, dont have enough buzz 2 gain the attention of the masses...if they start it shit'll be like Jae Hood v. D-Block but if Crooked I starts it,then the pandora's box opens...

i agree with a lot being said....

But i think this can def be spread across all of hip hop, b/c honestly a ton of new rappers are exactly what he said, they are wack. Yea you'll always have the Jay Z who will just get on with anybody b/c their hot

but i'm glad someone like Cube is straight up saying look i dont like your music and dont want to work with you. I came into the game on my own broke free from a HUGE group and did my own shit, get on yourself.

But that, ageism stuff is the truth and i think highlights the ignorance of young rappers... They just dont think about the future these days. They all hate on teh vets etc for being too old but never think shit i might be 40 rapping one day in their position.

Just like Soulja Boy hating on the lyrics shit when he got in, like i make hot music etc... but now all of a sudden trying to step his lyrical game up

I'm one of the biggest Ice Cube fans, he used to be my favorite rapper until I heard 2pac. I'm also an LA native, so I also tend to hear what the streets echo.......and what they echo when it comes to Cube is, He's a SHADY muafucka. Anybody that Cube has put on in the past got fucked. I guess you can say that he learned a good lesson from Eazy E, cuz Cube be pencilwhipping the fuck outta fools out here.

He fucked over Kam which resulted in him getting his ass whooped by Solo. Got his eye dotted Wacka Flocka Style. (Whoop Whoop)
Fucked over Mack 10.
Fucked over Short Khop and everyone associated with his defunct Heavyweight Records including regular employees that I knew there.
This is just to name a few.

Cube is fire, but some of the new young rappers out here have a bit more fire right now. Like Glasses Malone and Jay Rock. If Cube is coming at fake cats like 40Glocc then all good, but if he fucking with some these young hungry lions he might get eaten alive. Even gladiators die..............

teh thing is these dudes tried to thorw shots at Cube out of the blue for know reason. Why is it Cube's responsibility to put rappers on that he's not even affiliated with. Now all the sudden they wanna be like why is he even worried about us. Trying to play both sides of the street Raw footage was a good ass album

Taken from the Rumors....

This could be bad... and Cube aint Speaking nothing but the truth on this!

But do ya'll think Cube still got what it takes to go against multiple rappers 1 of them being Crooked I? Ya'll think Slaughterhouse would get involved?

What's up with these local MC's in L.A. who keep disrespecting me? They're just mad cause I don't f**k with they wack-ass. They ain't on my level, why should I waste my time. I don't even remember ever meeting these clowns or even being in the same room with any of 'em. They can't make a name for themselves so they need help from the O/G's. I refuse the throw'em a life line. f**k'em. It ain't my job to make nobody famous. And for the record, I ain't scared of no n***a. Especially, no rappers....seriously people.

Age-ism in rap? Age-ism is everywhere folks. In the work place, in sports and of course in hip-hop. We are a out with the OLD in with the NEW world. But as we go through life we realize NEWER ain't always better. We find ourselves saying, "Back in the day, bah, bah, bah...." All young MC's should route for old MC's to have long careers. If you play us out, what kind of future do you have in hip-hop when you get 40?

Advice for young rappers: You gotta be hot on your block first, then your city, then your state, then your country, then the world. If you can't make your block notice you. The world is a tall task.

I agree with the Don Mega 100%. I don't know if Cube could end their careers by himself, but if he enlists the help of other West coast o.g.'s, it'd be over. I can appreciate Cube doin things on his own, but if he hooked back up with Westside Connection and brought some folks like Spice 1, Too $hort, E40, MC Eiht, DJ Quik, Above the Law, etc., into the mix, it would be a wrap. Even if I was a young m.c. and thought I could take Ice Cube, I'd probably leave it alone. Cube has a lotta money and connections in the industry. He could make a few phone calls and force you into early retirement. If you're not on his level, fuckin with him would be career suicide.

Crooked I vs Ice Cube, would be epic. Bishop Lamont is tight too, but I don't think anyone besides Crooked I could stand a chance against Cube. He is one of the wisest guy in hip-hop, think about it.

I used to think the same thing until Common basically punked the shit outta Cube with "The Bitch In Yoo"........
Cube can be touched, especially if rappers dig in the crates on how he got fucked up by Solo on these Cali streets. Shit, Cube didn't even smoother B-Real as well as I thought he could. Yall still thinking of Death Certificate Ice Cube, things are not the same these days.

Agree with the post above mine, that this isn't the same Cube that we were blessed with in the old days. Until he can prove otherwise, all he'll be able to say is that he's made more money, made it it the industry however long, had howevermany sales...I think lyrically Crooked I would destroy the Cube of nowadays (again unless Cube shows he is the old Cube) in a battle. All Cube could say outside of the aforementioned is that Crooked I hasn't released a solo album yet, which hopefully would motivate him to do so, to include his response to Cube.

I think Cube needs to sit down and work things out with Mack 10, Lamont, Crooked, and Glasses

Not saying he has beef with all of them, but he got get together with them and really pass the torch to the younger artists and make a stronger movement in the west.

They need support because Glasses and Lamont were supposed to be "next" for years now and it hasn't panned out like it could've

The whole "No country For Young Men" is unecessary IMO.
