Amazing concept: A rap album with no guest appearances. Almost unheard of in this day and age. Most rappers are afraid to do an album all by themelves.

Not trying to ruin the mood but aside for r&b hooks, Plies been doing this for 3 albums so far...

But on some real shit, This shit is building up to be monumental. I really hope it's lot harder than Raw Footage, he definitely seems more focused this time around.

This & MC Eiht/DJ Premier are my most anticipated albums this year

Yeah.

Rather have R.E.D. drop. Ice Cube is not the West, he's a part-time rapper now. FOH.
Besides, more niggas was DANCING before 1986 than rapping. Stop it, Cube.

Jay Rock is gonna run the West Coast soon, IMO. Jay Rock and Nipsey Hussle, jumping straight over Game Carter.

Taken from the Rumors....

This could be bad... and Cube aint Speaking nothing but the truth on this!

But do ya'll think Cube still got what it takes to go against multiple rappers 1 of them being Crooked I? Ya'll think Slaughterhouse would get involved?

What's up with these local MC's in L.A. who keep disrespecting me? They're just mad cause I don't f**k with they wack-ass. They ain't on my level, why should I waste my time. I don't even remember ever meeting these clowns or even being in the same room with any of 'em. They can't make a name for themselves so they need help from the O/G's. I refuse the throw'em a life line. f**k'em. It ain't my job to make nobody famous. And for the record, I ain't scared of no n***a. Especially, no rappers....seriously people.

Age-ism in rap? Age-ism is everywhere folks. In the work place, in sports and of course in hip-hop. We are a out with the OLD in with the NEW world. But as we go through life we realize NEWER ain't always better. We find ourselves saying, "Back in the day, bah, bah, bah...." All young MC's should route for old MC's to have long careers. If you play us out, what kind of future do you have in hip-hop when you get 40?

Advice for young rappers: You gotta be hot on your block first, then your city, then your state, then your country, then the world. If you can't make your block notice you. The world is a tall task.

I agree with all that.

Young rappers want the legends to hold their hands. They need to make their own name and lane.

Nipsey Hustle's hustle is organic. He came up from his street and people started to notice him. Not based off cosigns or beef but organic talent.

Guys like Game needed Dre, and 50 to make a name. And once they left him, his album sales went down, the quality of his music went down. There is only so long you could use that life preserver before people see what talent you actually have.

I agree with the Don Mega 100%. I don't know if Cube could end their careers by himself, but if he enlists the help of other West coast o.g.'s, it'd be over. I can appreciate Cube doin things on his own, but if he hooked back up with Westside Connection and brought some folks like Spice 1, Too $hort, E40, MC Eiht, DJ Quik, Above the Law, etc., into the mix, it would be a wrap. Even if I was a young m.c. and thought I could take Ice Cube, I'd probably leave it alone. Cube has a lotta money and connections in the industry. He could make a few phone calls and force you into early retirement. If you're not on his level, fuckin with him would be career suicide.

Lol Ice Cube dont care about niggas. Ice Cube got his own Record Label... He could if he want sign alot of rappers but he dont do that because that label is only for his Blood Brothers

this could get ugly..it could also polarize West Coast hip hop even further by making neutral parties like Snoop choose a side...*gets popcorn ready*
