Crazy because this vanilla-forums shit looks subscription-based. If they're going to be paying every month for it, I think that entitles them to some type of support / updates.

Anyways tho, knowing IC history - an update is going to mean weeks of the site being down.

@7figz Our support team can't recreate this issue. Can you describe the steps you took to get that error?

Since 2012 when The IC launched on Vanilla, there have been literally thousands of commits (code updates), all of which have been deployed to this site on an ongoing basis.

You might be confusing changes to the INTERFACE (what you actually see when you come to this site), with updates in general. Interface changes are not Vanilla's responsibility and in fact we strive to ensure that updates to the underlying code are backwards compatible and do not cause the interface to change substantially. This is to preserve the site in a state that resembles, as closely as possible, the client's original mockups.

Some customers have performed fairly regular interface updates over the course of their subscription and that is perfectly fine and encouraged.

Shit, let me find out this is only happening to me.

BTW just got a HTTP 400 (Bad gateway) while typing this post.

@IcyLiquid,

I opened a private instance of the browser and logged in and it works, came back to the other original browser and it's the same (with the errors).

So it's probably a session / cookie issue....

In any event, I'll probably just delete my IC cookies and login again although this shit is still weird.
