Lem is going to make me invest in some kettlebells

brah...i got a good deal on some cast iron ones off amazon

I got two 35lb KBs for like $60 which is a lil less than a dollar a lb. That is a GREAT deal. I was thinking about getting some 50lb ones. They running like $52 a piece on amazon right now.

THese are iron through and through. I was doing a KB swing on my deck and accidentally dropped on and it cracked a plank. Better the wood than my foot.

To me, its a super cheap way to get some fitness equipment.

Props to lem for finding these videos tho, I've been trying to find some and havent had the luck he has.

I was up mom dukes last night & came up on a 20lb kettlebell in her little exercise room, so I'm about to borrow that from her since she don't use it. I just need to cop another 20lb one then I am on go. I can use the swing workout as another ab workout, just the workout I was looking for

Mix your Swing with the transverse ab exercise.

When you go down, inhale and push your abs inside, then keep them like this or push deeper insidewards while going up and exhaling.

To an extent you can Mix it with whatever exercises imo.

To keep myself motivated & growing in my workouts, I've planted a voice in my mental that repeatedly says "Don't ever give up!!!!!" in a screaming Apollo Creed voice, when he training Rocky in Rocky 3

Its 70% diet man. Im on the ketogenic diet which not everyone agrees with but im doing it to lose the weight quicker. Once i get to my goal weight and tone up some I am going to introduce carbs back into my diet but not sugar. Carbs like brown rice, sweet potatoes and shit like that. Look into the ketogenic diet if you're looking to drop some quick pounds. It can be done very cheaply. If you are interested I can send you some information on it.

No doubt, I would even say diet is 85% of it. Exercise just expedites the process and give you some athleticism and allows to develop aesthetics.

What exactly is the Keto diet? I've heard of it but I would like to stick to a diet I can maintain long time. In the times I've lost considerable weight (235-210 in Freshman year, and 275-423 in Fall 2015) I usually had a well varied diet, i.e. fruits, veggies, good protein, brown carbs (rice, bread, oatmeal) etc. Of course for a college student that costs money and in times of limited funds I had to resort to eating at free events (pizza, pizza, pizza, not an excuse however)

Right now I'm keeping my calories to about 2,000-2,100 daily. I walk about 2 miles around campus every day from classes and to other activities.

I run 2 miles M,W,F then after hit the gym and focus on big muscles groups. M-Chest, W-Back, F-Legs

Play soccer for an hour Thursday and occasionally Saturday. Rest Sunday and occasionally Tuesday.

Been doing this for about 3 weeks consistently and I've noticed my clothes a bit loose.

I still have a long way to go. I'm focusing just on consistency. I have 11 weeks before my internship in June and I think realistically I can drop about 20 lbs and get down to 230ish. 5'11-6'0ish 230lbs isn't great, but a much better than where I am.

Feel free to send some info to me about the Keto diet.

Turns out, I don't have the flu...I have pneumonia. smh My weight is usually in the 230's, now, it's down to 215. Haven't been eating, because I always vomit the food out. Once I get better, I will be on a SERIOUS mission! I want to get up to at least 240lbs. Won't be able to lift heavy for a long while, because I feel very weak, but I will get it in like no other. The Mighty King MOEbra will rise again!
