Worked out my back and triceps today. Soon as I'm about to leave the gym my coworker comes in and I end up working out chest and biceps too.

GOAT workout! I usually do a 2 or 3 x 10 sets of 275Lbs.

Did 2x7 sets of 320 and 2x5 sets of 345 before descending back down to 285.

Was just thinking, what if I didn't workout prior. I probably can get 385 easily.

I'm back at it after my B-day trip. Ugh. Brutal first trip to work but the ride home was better.

I remain consistent though. 32 miles a day religiously.

Bought some resistance bands , recommended by a friend to start working on my upper body.

Gotta be careful though, I'm pretty big up top. Don't wanna bulk up too much, start looking like @Black_Samson lol..

I'm a woman d***it!

This is a myth for women and weights. You can't bulk you lack testosterone.

Any of y'all hit the gym early this morning like I did?? I know for damn sure I'm gonna eat way to much today so why not get a workout in?

I competed in the 0-164 category.

Squats 280lbs

Bench 220lbs

Deadlift 400lbs

Was cold as shit so i didnt go too crazy on the deadlifts and squats.

Luckily it was enough.

One guy was right there hanging tough with me. His third deadlift was at 360. Mine was suppose to be at 380 but said screw it once i got on the platform. Think that edged me out.

Good shit dude. Congratulations.

I been wanting to get into a competition like that too but I just don't have the time to train that I once had.

Was that through your gym or what? How did you find out about it?

started back working out after a month or so hiatus

no worse feeling than feeling like you left a set or two out on the field

was trying this new ladder set with the sandbag doing squats and lunges

if you remember, i posted a vid a while back that explained the concept of the ladder workout

so i had a 60lb sandbag for squats(which i think is actually more b/c i filled it with pea gravel...it sure as hell feels more than 60lbs) and two 35lb kettlebells for lunges

first set in the ladder is 10 squats, then 1 lunge with each leg

second set, 9 squats, 2 lunges each leg

so on and so forth until you have done 1 squat, and 10 lunges

i got to about 6 squats, and 5 lunges and legs started feeling like jello. I think i hit a mental block. I just couldnt push through. I was sweating like crazy and the mosquitoes was out like shoppers during a black friday sale.

My hamstrings, thighs, hips all are sore, but not in a bad way. I feel now like i couldve done more, but thats ok. Im doing it AGAIN today!! I'ma break through today then rest tomorrow or do upper body
