Crunk Juice was a good album. And I was one of those people that thought it was going to destroy hip-hop initially. Then snap music came out and I was begging for crunk to come back.

I remember when Youngbloodz' "Don't Give A Damn" came out. Me and my homies was doin the blood walk before it became the A Town stomp. Then Yin Yang Twins blew up. We was runnin around screamin "HEEEEEAAAAH!" every chance we got. 03-04 was fun times. Once you become a trend though, the only way to go is down. Plus I do believe that that movement made it hard for the more lo-fi and complex emcees to eat. If you didn't have a dance or displayed some form of ignorance, you got no play.

co-sign all of this. 03-06 was fun. the crunk era was the shit.

my favorite song off Cruck Juice.

first time I heard that me n the homie was hot boxing in the car and the radio played it. I dont think niggas really how tough the bay fucked with crunk music. Lil Jon was heavy at the pep rallys and house parties. Bay radio stations was playing songs of Kings Of Crunk and Crunk Juice that wasnt released as singles. We was A-town stomping n shit too lol.

i maybe coming outta left field with this but i really feel like the beats now are crunk inspired for some reason i hear lil jon in instrumentals in a lot of the songs that may be considered "mainstream"

or maybe im crazy

whats the difference between "crunk" and "trap".........? cos the shit sound the same to me...

Trap music ain't have nothin to do wit the club...When that shit originated, it was about real street niggas tellin they story...And in the southeast, dope houses are commonly referred to as the "trap"...So that's just southern gangsta music..."Crunk" was specifically targeted towards that aggressive club energy that we got down here...The chants, the yelling, the heavy bass...That's all shit that resonates in our club scene in the south...

"Trap" isn't really a sub-genre...It's just like I said, gangsta rap from a southern perspective...But the type of beats that Jeezy, T.I.,and Gucci made some of they hardest shit to early on took off and became a popular sound...But to answer the question, none of those joints you posted would be considered "crunk" except for maybe "Don't Like"...
