whats the difference between "crunk" and "trap".........? cos the shit sound the same to me...

Trap music ain't have nothin to do wit the club...When that shit originated, it was about real street niggas tellin they story...And in the southeast, dope houses are commonly referred to as the "trap"...So that's just southern gangsta music..."Crunk" was specifically targeted towards that aggressive club energy that we got down here...The chants, the yelling, the heavy bass...That's all shit that resonates in our club scene in the south...

trap is damn near categorized by gothic influenced production (type of production that Shawty Redd pioneered). Organs, a lot of bells, rolling snares are staples of track production which most of those songs you posted have.
