I remember growing up I would watch standup specials from different comedians and 1 running joke among most of them was how black people loved to claim Native American

I didn't realize how real that was

Most claim with little to none DNA evidence to back their claims

There is no such thing as an "American Indian" unless you're talking about Indians that have come here and gained citizenship.

"Native Americans" call themselves Indian "NDN" all the time.

If u really wanted to keep it funky then every tribe would like to be called by their tribes name but there is over 500 different tribes in the usa.

My only point in here was one person who claimed native affiliation tried to say that no natives refer to themselves as indians and he was wrong
