Jay may have got richer after Ether but Nas got stronger musically.

And Jay is far from a boss, theres still white dudes on top of him who control him like a puppet, dude ain't no Jimmy Iovine.

Nas and Jay are two different people, so there's no point in comparing their personal lives. Not everyone wants to be worth hundreds of millions and chill with old white folks, some people would rather make albums like Distant Relatives and try to help their people. Some people ain't concerned solely with finances and creating a brand, some would rather make good music while living comfortably. Nas ain't broke he got enough money to never have to worry about starving again, while Nas is creating a legacy musically that Jay can't match up to, Jay is busy sipping tea with old white folks and playing cards with Russian men trying to portray himself as this great businessmen, when in reality alot of his buisiness deals wouldn't be possible without Dame and Biggs. Jays two biggest ventures was Roc-A-Wear and Roc-A-Fella,no one can discard Dames infleunce in them ventures.

When Dame left Roc-A-Fella burnt down to the ground with him, Dame had the acute buisness sense that Jay never had, it was Dame that signed most of Roc-A-Fellas biggest acst and it was also Dame that gave Kanye a chance has an rapper and not just a producer a decision that was shown to be a great one when Kanye went on to be the biggest artist in Rap.

Most of jay's big deals are on the back of his sucess with Roc-A-Fella, for example his new label is coincidentally named ROC nation, and his presidency as Def Jam was on the back of that as well. The thing is while Jay was sitting behind the scene buys kissing old white Jews like Lyor Cohens asses it was Dame that was prepared to be a bad guy for the sake of his company. Dame was the one ready to stand up to the old white Jewish men that control rap, Jay played it diplomatically which is why Dame got blackballed and Jay is now the poster boy for house negroes all across the world. Jay is not a boss, he is a lapdog that got rich, but for every million that lap dog has, there will be Jewish men like Iovine the real BOSSES that have billions.
