problem is it results in a big play for the offense more often than the defense makes a big hit...at the very least players get a few extra yards

Real talk right there; they want their 30 seconds of fame. Unless said hit knocks the other player to the ground and ends the play, it ain't worth shit - all sizzle, no steak.

Every comment so far put up some valid points, but sometimes them big hits get mufuckas amped. I love seeing a clean hard hit at times, but fundamentals always beats flash...... I feel bruh tho that said he hates when the offense gets a big gain out of it tho, I hate that shit too!
