Shit makes me feel like pulling out the dashiki on a warm afternoon, resupplying my inventory of cocoa butter and oils for the month, and diddy boppin with black fists at ready and black panther tattoos exposed.

Shit makes me feel black. Just where I wanna be.

Love it. Remember seeing Kweli perform this at Rock The Bells and everybody was just vibing and dancing "Keep on dancing..."

I was in the 7th or 8th grade, went to my homies crib to shoot hoops

we go inside & this video was on MTV

1st time hearin of them & til this day is the only time I've heard 1 song from a new artist (or at least one I've never heard of) & had to get the album

& I'm proud to say 16yrs later I still own my copy... got damn that makes me sound old af smh

Those chicks talking at the beginning of the song. .. such lovely voices

Ha! I recall recommending this album to some White dude at work nearly a decade ago... said he dug it

Classicc shit

Great song. Underrated album. I wish Kweli's last verse was on the CD, bit dope either way. I remember buying this twice because I bought the edited version first, which actually didn't have Big Del from the 'Nati's verse on that dope as beat, it was just an instrumental.

One of my favorite joints of all time. Shit so smooth, got that knock, the verses were dope. Shit was my introduction to Talib and HI Tek. Props to @MrCrookedLetter for taking me back down memory lane.

I remember when it all started...niggas use to try clown me for listening to this album all the time but then they'd listen and be like "oh aight i get it nvm" classic track classic album.
