It's not difficult, looks easy, just unnecessarily extra as I don't regularly carry a pencil box of crayons in my pocketbook.

so y'all just gonna ignore the fact that its a method for kids to learn the fundamentals?

its not for adults (apparently)... I am disappoint...

Japan is like third in math skills, we r like 25... Perhaps we should look at their methods with a little more respect...

B-B-B-But....

AmURka's the Greatest Country in the World...

so when it come to 75 x 48, you mean to tell me? I'm in math, not art muthafucka. I can solve that in 30 seconds, without drawin shit. No calculator.

Fuck the metric system. How the fuck you do carpentry or work with tools off the metric system.

Whats a 5/8 wrench in metric?

the real fiat would have welcomed the challenge.

The real fiat wouldve already talked about how he mastered that shit when he was

three and how this method is mad inferior when it comes to vedic math.

this is what i do in my head

75 X 48= 100 X (7 X 4) + 10 X (5 X 4 + 7 X 8) + (5 X 8)

=100 X 28 + 10(20+56) + 40

=2800 + 760 + 40

=3600

kinda similar to the trachtenberg system, but it doesn't scale as nicely as the digits increase

This is what I do in my head....

75 x 10 = 750

750 x 4 = 3000

then add 75 x 8 = 600

3600.

Multiples of 10 are a key tool in any complex math. That and organizing your thoughts.

they make that shit look so complicated when its easy af

13 x 13 is 169, so subtract 13 to get 156

or

12 x 12 is 144, so add 12 to get 156

multiplication is just repeated addition. just add the first number *13* over and over based on what its being multiplied by *12*. eventually it should come to you

now when it comes to the multiplication kai just did.....
