about every 6 months honestly. once during my annual pap smear and another during my reg check up. HIV is dormant for about six months so one test can't tell u whether you have it or not. wit technology and all this contraception choices, your sexual health and fertility should only be controlled by you. you have to get tested be4 i'm gonna have unprotected sex wit u and vice versa. i'm only gonna get pregnant and have a baby when i want to and i'm damn sure gonna do my best to make sure i don't catch something. you owe it to yourself imo
