It looks like you're asking the same question twice. Yes I've had my girlfriend at the time fix me a plate, but it was because I was preoccupied at the time....

And the second question seems a bit redundant. Are you asking if one of my female friends fixed me a plate while my current gf was there? If so, I can't recall that happening, but that's 'cause there was never a function like that for that kind of thing to occur...

A. Its not about thinking her making you a plate is gonna take you away. Its about her intent. We know she's doing it because she wants to look like a nurturer. That is one of the many ways women make themselves stand out from the pack. Same way males do extra manly shit to make a woman take notice that is the better provider/protecter.

B. It was a good anoalogy, because typically people believe Women should be cooks and provide nourishment not men. SO asking if it would bother for another man to make her plate does evoke the same feeling. You have to ask something like "if another man gave her money" which is something traditionally people believe Men should be the providers

I will be that! Shit, my mom used to fix everyone's plate til we were a certain age and she fixed my dad's plate. But when she wasn't around and when they went to social gatherings, shit...he fixed his own plate, she fixed her own. They didn't divorce (he died in 08), but man...what do I seriously look like waiting for someone to fix my plate like I'm 2? If I got 2 functioning legs and hands, better believe...I'm getting my own plate. She can get my drink if she wants, but not my plate!
