How Magna Carta Holy Grail really grew on me and what it says about Jay's current status

I ain't gon lie at first listen I hated it

but after a while it grew on and is his best album in years

After a second listen I'm liking it a little more. Still not as good as a lot of his old shit but maybe I was just holding jay to a higher standard because he has some classic LPs.

I don't understand this ....how did it just change like that to y'all?

Idk maybe I was listening to it with a little bias. Obviously it's nothing incredible otherwise the sheer hotness of the song would have wiped away all bias but it's not as bad as I thought it was at first.

Also some songs do just grow on you. I hated amilli when it first came out because it was something different but I've come to appreciate it now and I'm also seein a lot of other rappers tryna do something similar.
