To that point, people love seeing you do well but they hate seeing you do better than them.

When Ready to Die hit it fucked the game up, 2Pac was what 2-3 albums in by this point. BIG hit a homerun out of the gate, a classic album that sold a ton of records.

All of sudden Tupac mad and he wanna start dissing.

Fuck outta here.

All Eyes On ME out sold BIGs whole discography.

What's your point?

Pac got better with each album, what rapper you know that can top their debut?

Snoop? HELL NO

50? HELL NO

NAS? FUCK NO

Nas Top Illmatic with IWW... Stillmatic.. AND Distant Relatives

Even Godson, Lost Tapes, Untitled was Dope...

Lost tapes is better than illmatic?

Big was in the height of his career, at his apex when all of this was going down. While Pac had all these legal issues with the police and the rape charge, Big was living the life. He had hit records and was going to award shows. In other words, 2Pac was mad at the world, but Biggie wasn't. Biggie was happy with the way his life was going so he didn't have any anger in him, not like 2Pac.

Think about it, 2Pac still had that rape case. Just because Suge bailed him out on an appeal he still had to go to trial again for the same case. He was stuck on Death Row and he obviously wasn't happy. Suge was treating him like a bitch and wasn't paying him. He was really mad at the world.

Biggie on the other hand seemed happy at Bad Boy, he had hits on the radio and everybody in New York was showing him love. Biggie just didn't have the same anger in him that 2Pac had so he couldn't respond to Hit Em Up accordingly. 2Pac had pretty much gone insane while Biggie was still thinking rationally.

Also, Big didn't have any beef with the West Coast. He was cool with Snoop and didn't want to burn any bridges.

Big wasn't about to jump out of the plane without a parachute the way 2Pac did.

If you don't wanna be on a label where the executive producers all up im your Videos come to death row..... if i remember right..

Lol nigga so what. Wipe your tears with the napkin he signed his deal on.

Lmao these threads always bring out the paragraphs full of feelings on both sides.

Maybe Big was scared, but we'll never know.

Maybe Puff told him not to, but we'll never know.

Maybe this was all some bullshit to sell records like A LOT of people say it was, but y'all don't listen to reason.

Y'all go on ahead, type with your feelings.

And yall arent?

Im not from over here so a lot of rappers discography i researched and listened to came with no hype or public opinions to sway me.

I like big, i think pac is average.

As far as the other shit. I been around loud ass attention seeking hype niggaz b4 them niggaz usually wouldnt buss a grape.

Both big & pac had some character defects but their story seems pretty cut and dry.

Pac did this shit for attention. Big aint do nothing to that man to warrant all the bs.

The nigga main beef with big was that hes the kony so he should know about his robbery.

Both those niggaz were kids. Too many fr OG's on the east and west for them niggaz to run shit but music.

Yeah who knows. Back then nobody really responded to Pac. Nobody wanted that. It is what it is but there is no one comparable as to how he had things. Again nobody wanted to step in that ring. Also there was only a small window before he was gone and that was definitely a factor too. For the millionth time he explained things in a Vibe article after the incident he went upstairs where Bad boy were and they ignored him and didnt want to look at him. Leading him to believe they knew what was going to happen/had something to do with it. also He talked to people and heard things, etc. Im no expert but I do remember seeing something like that from that interview. Not that I know one way or another and I listen to both of them (Pac more). But he had what he believed were reasons it didnt just come out of thin air.

People you know tell you to go somewhere. If When you get there you are ambushed afterward you go to the people you know. There response is very important to what you are thinking. If they are sincerely like Wtf happened? and rush to your aid thats one thing. If they act like they dont want to look at you or really help, thats the type of thing that may get you thinking...just going by how I heard Pac's point of view. Plus whatever he heard and whatnot. Not acting like I know anything I just remember excerpts from that interview.
