How Come Biggie Never Directly Responded to Tupac?

2 Pac dies a few months after Hit Em Up was released. There was no social media back then so news traveled kinda slow. I think 2 Pac died before Big got a chance to respond.

Brooklyns finest was released 4 months before Pac died.

In which Biggie said "If Fae had twins she prolly have 2pac's" referring to hit em up.

So not only did he self ether himself, but he also had Alot of time to respond.

I think he was waiting for his album to come out so he could drop a nuclear bomb on him but Pac died so he ended up dropping subliminals instead.

The other possibility is that he was trying to ignore him and be the better man, but that doesn't explain the subs.

"Only reason I'm not naming no names, because I don't want to give you bitch ass niggas a chance to make a record coming back and sell a few units, faggots"

Lol @ telling a nigga who went 5x plat in a couple months "i dont wanna give you the chance to sell a few units"

or 4 months wasnt enough time.

Yall niggas gotta take the cape off b. When Jay vs Nas went down there wasnt any social media either, but Jay responded back in 1 day. Gtfoh with that bullshit. Biggie couldnt/didnt want to fuck with Pac, it is what it is.

He didnt say shit because he was guilty of settting Pac up. Everybody knew it then with no social media and now every year more and more evidence piles up about him helping in the 94 robbery. Look at that sway interview when they ask him about Pac. He looks guilty and confused. His best defense at the time was to stay silent to make Pac look like an unstable troublemaker. it sort of worked because most motherfuckers from new york swear biggie was an angel. he wasnt. the only reason why we call it a robbery is because his dumb ass shooters didnt have good aim to finish the job. They were planning to kill pac that night not just take his jewelry. The shooters failed and biggie knew the price he was ultimately going to have to pay. its kinda ironic. maybe him and pac would be alive if he did respond on wax who knows. RIP to both

What is it he didn't have time before Pac died,or he was waiting on his album to drop?

OK, good. I know a bit about this theory as well. But still, shit doesn't add up for obvious reasons. Pac was as big, if not bigger, than Biggie. Pac didn't need Biggie to "sell a few units."

The waiting for an album sounds plausible, but meh. But I don't see Biggie taking the higher road.

This has been the only real possible explanation that I can think of as well. I hate to say it, because I don't completely buy the idea that Biggie had a hand in Pac's death. Maybe the prior shooting, but the 96 one? I don't know.

I thought this was a easy question. So nobody really knows (besides the "Biggie didn't diss him on wax because he was handling it streetwise" explanation)?

And that still doesn't explain why he didn't call out Nas, Jeru, Raekwon and Ghost, Boot camp, etc. Was Biggie eventually going to get all of them whacked too? No disrespect, but was Biggie scared? Shit doesn't make sense to me, and when shit doesn't make sense to me, I need answers.

Big was in the height of his career, at his apex when all of this was going down. While Pac had all these legal issues with the police and the rape charge, Big was living the life. He had hit records and was going to award shows. In other words, 2Pac was mad at the world, but Biggie wasn't. Biggie was happy with the way his life was going so he didn't have any anger in him, not like 2Pac.

Think about it, 2Pac still had that rape case. Just because Suge bailed him out on an appeal he still had to go to trial again for the same case. He was stuck on Death Row and he obviously wasn't happy. Suge was treating him like a bitch and wasn't paying him. He was really mad at the world.

Biggie on the other hand seemed happy at Bad Boy, he had hits on the radio and everybody in New York was showing him love. Biggie just didn't have the same anger in him that 2Pac had so he couldn't respond to Hit Em Up accordingly. 2Pac had pretty much gone insane while Biggie was still thinking rationally.

Also, Big didn't have any beef with the West Coast. He was cool with Snoop and didn't want to burn any bridges.

Big wasn't about to jump out of the plane without a parachute the way 2Pac did.

Here's why:

Because Biggie didn't want the so called beef to escalate, responding to Pac wasn't Biggie's style that would have just added more fuel to the fire.

I don't buy that Biggie had something to do with the '94 shooting at all. Biggie didn't even know Tupac was coming to the studio that night, and Tupac wasn't even coming to see Biggie.

Look at all these answers but yet u niggaz went hard @ tyga for calling pac his daddy

you fatherless, oooh biggie was scared of my daddy ass orphans

The answer was already given. Dont matter how known pac was. Big knew him personally to be a loud mouth attention whore

He even pressed him at a award show backstage and pac told him this was just for money and attention. Facts

Big aint wanna give blood no pick me up off of his name, thats it.

Big was an actual battle rapper in the skreets not on no meek milly shit but fr fr

Pac was an actor not on no degrassi shit but fr fr it wouldve been no competition
