Gates had the streets behind him, he had everyone rooting for him, with the music and realness to back it. The issue is that he brought on his weirdness too soon SMMFH. The letting dogs smash his jumpoffs, fucking his cousins, eating ass, it was too much too soon SMMFH. He has good interviews when his head on straight but his mouth hurt his reputation. He needs better PR and has to clean up his act. Lil Wayne is weird but he puts it on songs so it's easy to dismiss on some "it's just a song" shit but Gates said his shit on vines and IG which is a platform where people are going to take what you say literally.

Why does he nee PR?

I respect the weirdness cause I know it's genuine

It takes 5 years to build a reputation and one tweet to destroy one.

He needs a filter to know when and how to respond to certain things, and to tell him "no" when he comes up with something that doesn't need to be said/tweeted about. Whether he wants to admit it or not, those remarks hurt his reputation which is why now he's doing interviews explaining the shit. You can remember the goofy shit he said better than the last song he put it out.... That's a problem. Gates is an intelligent dude and he needs to put that part of him out there more and move a little differently.
