Top 3? Top 5? Top 10? Are niggas bein' serious? I'd only say top 50 coz I'd never be bothered to list the many niggas better than him

Top 20.People tend to forget lil Wayne been doing this for close to 20 years in the mainstream .He had his ups and Downs like a lot of artist throughout the years, but that 2004-2008 stretch was memorable he did not want get stereotype as another southern rapper with catchy ringtones of the time period and stepped his lyrical game up .And for that I give him props for that.

We talkin rhyme skills or discography?

rappin skills

He's in the top 40-50 skills wise, had a really good flow, was a big part of making that punchline shit as big as it is now, although it gets boring after a few songs. His flow, charisma, and wordplay make him perfect for mixtapes. He's not the worst at putting albums together, but he should be much better at it for his status and time in the game. He's much higher as an overall artist though, you can't deny his impact and longevity. I'm willing to say he got more niggas throwin up blood than any cali set ever has, a lot of these niggas started they dreads because of wayne too. He's a big part of the popularity of the mixtape/mixtape series. There was a time when this nigga was featured on damn near every song on a given radio station's playlist. Also, let's remember he went platinum of that carter III in the first week in this horrible climate for music sales, and as much as we hype that control shit wit kendrick, a milli still had more remixes than i've ever seen, ever, and he still had the best version. I know he a cornball leggin wearin ass nigga now, but you can't deny duke impact or longevity for better or worse, he has literally been around since like 98 or somethin. Also, don't forget, there was a point when wayne could really, really spit. I'm really not too much into the guy, but you gotta respect what he's done.

Taking his entire career into account, as much as I dislike his music now, I'd say he would HAVE to be in the top 10. Towards the bottom. Like maybe somewhere between 7-10.

The ppl who put wayne in the top 10 I'm interested to know what y'all top 10 look like if it got wayne in it....
