Dustin Hoffman is speaking out after sexual harassment allegations were made against him from back in 1985.
Anna Graham Hunter, who was a 17-year-old intern on the TV film Death of a Salesman that year, wrote an essay for The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday that claims that Dustin grabbed her buttocks and made vulgar comments to her on the set. It started her first day when he asked for a foot rub. Hunter documented Hoffman’s alleged misconduct in letters she wrote to her sister, which are shared in the story. “I loved the attention,” she wrote. “Until I didn’t.”
Dustin responded to Hunter’s allegations in a statement to THR, saying, “I have the utmost respect for women and feel terrible that anything I might have done could have put her in an uncomfortable situation. I am sorry. It is not reflective of who I am.”
