Destro.....not a single person can change the world....just got to keep it moving and protect yourself and your family that is the best you can do man. Even when people mind their own business trouble can surround them. You never knows whats going to happen....wonder what went wrong. Chicago has a unique history of "gang" culture....some of these mobs like to be called organzations instead of gangs. These nation once stood for something....the Vice Lords, the Black P Stones the Latin Kings, the Gaylords....yes gaylords....old school white gang....which stood for great american youth leading our rebellion demanding strength. The organzations better their communitys when they started, set up jobs, built boys and girl clubs....but something went terribly wrong......its sad, lots of its just brainwashing and manipulation.

But yeah man, the gang structure is broken down. I hear cats saying "Fuck Hoover or Fuck Jeff" niggaz on some wild go for self shit. As a matter of fact you see gangs interactin with each other.

And if them damn PR's didi'nt come to 63rd & Hayes after the parade on Saturday with the flag waving throwing up gang signs, what the fuck, it's 2010 nigga, you throwing up gang signs then a shooting popped off later, I had dipped by then, But on Sunday the po=po's were walking around 63rd St beach with them big ass machine guns on the ready

Great post. but my point is t/s posted up story and instead of damn that shits fucked up or this is why it popped off ( though some did give facts to chigcago problems) it was like yeah whatever people get shot everywhere so why should i care type vibe, but you kept it real.

Ya one thing I tell people all the time at least Black folks here in Chicago leave gang banging a lone around 19 and get on some hustling sh!t My Latin people be gang bangin until they're 40 and sh!t. Honestly one of the reasons you always see me at Black Clubs instead of Latin Clubs.

I might sound crazy and it does sound a little weird but my friend, one day he was telling me about some guys who set up a computer program in the 80s and it basically was aimed to predict shit that will happen ( i think they fed it info on economy or some shit like who ran each country like right wing left wing, who many jobs lost each year each ) and they predicted that this year would be the summer of unrest around the world, i laughed at him like yeah right but shit has hit the fan all over the world. But i can see why people would join a gang when they are young, but at what point would they stay in it, I mean if thats the source of income and they run the streets all day everyday i can understand but if they go to school etc have a job , do they grow out of it ....i never understood the mindset of growing out of a gang once your in

Same with me , there were a few gangs in London when i was growing up but i never really paid them people no mind and they never troubled me anyways, me and my friends just hung out together clubbing playing video games pulling women , and if one us was in trouble we backed each other up , but we never thought of being a gang, and now in London gangs are everywhere and bloods and crips are getting repped each, i swear what happens in USA eventually comes to the UK
