2 Men Found Dead Near South Side Railroad Tracks
Two young men were found naked, shot to death and lying face down near railroad tracks in the South Side Princeton Park neighborhood Monday morning.
The bodies were discovered about 8:50 a.m. near the tracks in the 9000 block of South Holland Road, police News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak said. They were found on railroad property, according to a Calumet Area sergeant.
The sergeant said the two apparently were shot sometime Sunday night.
The two victims are black males, believed to be between 16 and 20 years old, according to police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala. They were found unclothed, and lying face down with multiple gunshot wounds to their head and back, Zala said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed two men were found dead near the tracks, according to a spokeswoman. They were pronounced dead at the scene at 9:50 a.m. and have not yet been identified.
