Nothing wrong with wanting the music to evolve..but it's a problem when kids act like they can't play some Wu-Tang with their Soulja Boy...or A Tribe Called Quest with their Drake/Lil Wayne..or Rakim with their Lil Wayne.
I can listen to the latest Freddie Gibbs song and go back and listen to some classic Kool G. Rap. I can listen to the new J. Cole and go back and listen to some classic N.W.A...I can even listen to a Lil Wayne song (whether it's wack or not) and go back and listen to some classic Geto Boys/Scarface...can most of this generation do that in one fell swoop without saying "awww man, this shit is too old", or "I just can't get with this because it doesn't sound good?" or some other irrelevant dumb shit?
