I'm a coach and speaking from my coaching perspective if one of my players ever conducted himself like this I would man handle him, then throw him off the team, and not have anything to do with him as it relates to sports. I don't give a damn if the referee walked up to him and called him a n*gger this kind of conduct cannot be excused. Sometimes in life you just have to deal with adversity if the ref said or did something he didn't like deal with it and keep playing hard.

Just as important to the Jordan icon as his amazing play and remarkable marketing skill is the game he plays. Basketball is no longer the strictly white game that it was when James Naismith invented it as an American sport in 1892. On January 15 of that year the sport was first played in recognized and organized fashion in YMCA's around Springfield, Massachussetts. As the game's appeal continued to grow, it spread to universities around the country as a game played dominantly by whites. But this white domination did not last long because blacks began to play the game in the cities as a sport of their own in post-Civil War America. It has come a long way from Naismith's original game -- so far, in fact that the original peach "baskets" on barns have turned into rusted metal rims with chain "nets" on courts covered with broken glass in the inner city ghettos. It is now this image that defines a game that truly has become an African-American game. Black Americans have "invented" basketball just as much, or more than, Naismith did. Basketball has become a reflection of black ghetto culture, much in the form of jazz and blues music represented black culture in the American past. (George: xvii) Especially to lower class blacks in the inner cities of America, basketball has become one of the most expressive modes of cultural expression -- much like music, literature and fashion in other forms. It has become a ritual of expression. SO now tell me something about why I don't like the NBA.

What you trying to imply?

edit* you know what don't even bother, i already know.

well considering i used to referee basketball games, this dude can go play basketball in 5 o'clock traffic for all i care.

I remember I had this female coach (who looked like a dyke and had a nice fade) told me to "see what happens if you miss another call".

So eventually I "missed a call" and she was mean muggin me the whole game like she wanted to do somethin. lol

I just told her "if you were a good coach, you wouldnt have to rely on calls to win games.". She was mad after that.

It's becoming a violent game there's no such thing as civility in that sport. DON'T be so sensitive.....I never said ALL of them...if I did? show me.

Basketball used to be MUCH worse... you're just baiting now...

Stop living in the past then......I'm just stating the reality of the game. I just don't like the playing style & all them angry faces.

WTF are you talking about living in the past? You came in here to point out how this was a black guy that got into it with the ref. That much is obvious. Claiming the sport is progressively getting more violent is false. Now you're just race baiting to get a reaction.

This is exactly what Eric Holder meant when he said this nation is cowardly when it comes to racial issues. I gave you facts and you wanna make another issue out it. SO fucking what the game of basket ball is no longer a white man's sport.....I can except it and chose not to watch it......so you fuck you and your race baiting bull shit. It is what it is.

When did I say anything about what is a white man's sport? WTF are you rambling about. YOU are pointing that you believe its not a white man's sport not ME. You're race baiting because obviously it affects YOU mentally.

Did you read the article? now face the reality of what's being said......no it don't affect my mentality. You playing the race card coward. Is my bluntness and facing facts the real problem or might you be trying to concoct some other off the wall bs.?

That article is someone's opinion of basketball. The game is played in courts all over America whether its in the hood or in Beverly Hills. I didnt say anything about RACE so how am I playing the race card? You are the one going on and on about it not being a white man's sport. Obviously, it affects you because you are upset about it.
