Hernandez Was Just As Good If Not Better Than Gronk Before His Murder Case

He may have or may have not not been better, but he sure as hell wasn't smarter. You'd think a multimillion dollar pro football career would be enough to make niggas leave the streets alone, or at least learn to chill like Marvin Harrison lol.

This is the correct answer. We'll never know how good Hernandez could've been, but we know he brought something different to the table than Gronk (elusiveness, running back skills). Here were their numbers in their only full season together.

So with only 11 more targetes, Gronk had 400 more yards and 10 more TDs.

Gronk shitting on niggas

Hernandez was a good, even great TE. But neither he nor any TE, other than maybe Jimmy Graham for a few years, was/is fucking with Gronk.

Gronk is the GOAT....period.

He should be shitting on niggas when he's half a foot taller and 25 pounds heavier than Hernandez. Still a monster, regardless.

Money doesn't make you smarter. It just gives you the budget to do what you want. A dumbass with or without money is still a dumbass.

Nah that was Welker. Wes has the greatest stats for an untalented football player ever. For a guy who probably couldn't have cracked the roster for half the league

RECEIVING STATS

SEASON REC YDS AVG LNG TD

2007 112 1,175 10.5 42 8

2008 111 1,165 10.5 64 3

2009 123 1,348 11.0 58 4

2010 86 848 9.9 35 7

2011 122 1,569 12.9 99 9

2012 118 1,354 11.5 59 6

11 targets is the difference with AH missing two games.

Yeah, but getting to the NFL ain't easy. You'd think niggas would put shit into perspective so they don't fuck up years of hard work, but apparently not.

Bills players say Gronk's success is product of Brady

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...layers-say-gronks-success-is-product-of-brady

From where we sit, Gronk is the biggest matchup nightmare in the NFL. He's too big for defensive backs, too fast for linebackers. He possesses the hands of a wide receiver and physicality of lineman. And he does it all with the gusto of a frat boy in a keg race.

Don't tell that to Bills players, who were not so impressed with Gronkowski's accomplishments.

"He uses his body well, but he's got Tom Brady," Bills safety Corey Graham said, via the Boston Globe. "I mean, Tom Brady's Tom Brady."

Yes, Gronk's numbers have improved since Brady's return this season:

Without Brady: 2 games, 0.5 receptions per game, 5.5 receiving YPG, 0 TDs

With Brady: 4 games, 5.3 rec per game, 118.3 YPG, 3 TDs

Those stats also don't account for Gronk dealing with an injury to open the season.

"I'm more impressed with [Martellus] Bennett than Gronk," Bills linebacker Zach Brown added. "When Tom Brady wasn't here, you didn't hear [Gronkowski]. But when Tom Brady comes back he knows where to place it, how to place it, and he uses Gronk's size to his advantage.

They're a a product of each other. Brady's gonna ball regardless, but he aint putting up superstar numbers without superstar players (Moss, Gronk) and complementary #2 (Welker, Edelman).

Gronk can damn near catch any pass in his radius regardless of the accuracy.
