Hernandez Was Just As Good If Not Better Than Gronk Before His Murder Case

Jordan Reed>>>

J Reed is my favorite player in the league. But he ain't Gronk. He does some things better but I think the biggest difference is J-Crossover isn't a deep threat down the field. Gronk catch like 30-40 yard passe, J Reed will juke LBS at the line catch a 8 yard slant, break a few ankles and get tackled for a gain of 14 lol.

He definitely number 2 tho

Oh and I put in a prayer to kneezus brother who specialize in head trauma. I'm worried about J Reed longevity with all these damn concussions. When he gets back our offense will be clicking on all cylinders

He doesn't have to be cause we have DeSean Jackson and Jamison Crowder. U not gonna sit here and tell me Reed can't be a threat down the field, I refuse to believe that.

I won't talk down on JR because that's my enn. I can't ever remember him going deep down the field tho, even before D-Jax. I just don't think that's his skillset. But he's got the best footwork I've ever seen for a TE.

I remember when Reed was drafted my brother told me we just drafted Aaron Hernandez 2.0. He was right. He's a better Hernandez with the way he moves in space and can mix you after the catch.

He was good but they complemented each other. We didn't get to see Hernandez on his own so we will never know

This is the correct answer. We'll never know how good Hernandez could've been, but we know he brought something different to the table than Gronk (elusiveness, running back skills). Here were their numbers in their only full season together.

i agree he was on par before he got arrested, but i doubt he would be on gronk's level today.

Would have been a great tag team for years. In fact, I doubt my Ravens win in 2012 if gronk isnt injured, aaron was catching everything that game
