If you live in a bigger city, or a place with a higher than normal crime rate, there is a good chance the cop who pulled you over won't even show up in court because they have "more important" stuff to do.

If you live in a smaller place, you might get the penalty lowered or dropped if you can articulate the situation better than the officer.

But you wont lose anything by having your day in court

In Charlotte I dont even go to the court dates..just line at the d.a's counter at my convenience give her some. Sob story and have it dropped.

Yes. But I saw cop on my peripheral so stopping was a no brained but I was sped up and and ended up beyond white line
