I wanna hear about military people before I make up my mind on this.

People that was in the military, or had family in the military, how would yall feel if someone says this if you or a member of your fam died in service?

They getting punched in the mouth and worse if I can get a good hold of them with my mitts

Death is one of the things I don’t play about. We all know it’s natural (niggas die every day) and that it can befall anyone at any given time, however it make the realization that a loved has died any easier to swallow.

What makes even more offense is his line of duty and the fact that they came from the Commander In Chief. The head honcho of the service I work for. The same CIC that spent the last 3 weeks or so going ham on ppl he perceived not to be respecting the flag or it’s service members. Yes he has a long history of being a liar, a bigot, someone who he himself doesn’t respect the things he has chosen to speak on however it’s different when you are not directly involved in his callousness

Had I heard it on the phone he would have gotten threatened something serious and had he said it in my face I would have been charged with attempted assassination.

Had this been McDonalds you think the president could get away with saying, well he knew the risk of cooking with hot grease but when it happens...it hurts any way.....

Nah b, I don’t care you wasn’t comforted you were as a child *BA*, as an functioning adult you know something about tact and how to be respectful. A simple condolences for your loss or sorry for your loss suffices when you don’t know the person and don’t have much to offer.

And yeah, when has DT ever shown tact? I get it. But again, it’s completely different seeing disrespect happening to other ppl and experiencing it yourself.

it seems like there is too much military technology for an ambush in 2017 but alas.

Those companies still sell the military shitty and faulty equipment.

So I easily see how this could happen.

Just another reason why we have no place in their military. Fuck putting in work for a country that doesn't give you respect when you die smh.

from what i read, they went into a town with unarmored cars and when they got there, 50 isis soliders popped up like "you know what time it is"

Guerilla warfare will always have the upper hand in certain situations

hold on because this story might be being politicized by both parties and no one has the facts...

this..

and even if he did say it, the media isn't using this story for the family, they're politicizing it to use against Trump.

They're just as shitty as he is for this

When talking about joining the Military, I think, "Knowing what they are getting into" is a bit of an misnomer.

Personally, when I signed up at the age of 17 war was the last thing on my mind. They sell you you a lot of shit while you are being recruited some truths, some half lies and some gray area shit. My mind was on that signing bonus, free college, and that Va Loan (which I thought was a free house).

I think (know) the avg recruit fresh out of High School is thinking about getting some cash and getting some training (shooting, hand to hand combat, etc) and some other shit, not war.

Hell, sitting at the table w/ the recruiter and moms, my moms flat out asked him, what are the chances of my baby going to war? Dude was like man, hes gonna be brand new, so I doubt he goes. Not knowing how deployment groupings work, we accepted this and kept it moving.

The reality of going to war didn't set in until I was towards to end of AIT when everyone got their orders. The instructors were going around the room asking everyone where they were going to be stationed. They got to me and I said, "1st Cav". They were like oleeee shit, 1st Cav, thats rapid deployment!!! Will, yo ass going to war 1st! They thought that shit was funny as hell.

Cant lie, I was shook up for a lil bit when we got back to the Barracks. Crazy thing is, I got to my unit Jan 3rd, or 4th. Pretty much the whole unit was on leave due to the Holidays. A few days later they called everyone back because we got orders to deploy. A week later they were cancelled.

He's not wrong tho. You signed up in a military that historically does nothing but oppress people around the world.

I'm supposed to feel sympathy because you got your head popped off?

Supposed to feel bad if you black?

If you're black and sign up, voluntarily, for any branch of the military you're the biggest dumb ass on earth.
