Canibus has his own style which is that broad vocabulary mixed with a battle rap intensity. I'm not mad at it. Used to big a Canibus fan especially when he first came out. I even bought his first two CD's. I think his 2nd CD was way better than his first but after the LL Cool J diss he was pretty much toast in the mainstream world.

But anyway he doesn't make music that a lot of people can relate to and it does seem that he gets to caught up in trying to flex his vocabulary instead of putting out great songs. He forgot a long time ago how to make songs that the average listener could relate too. Kinda sad in my opinion because if he coulda figured out how to toe the line he might have turned out more popular
